Pre-Veterinary

Washington College's pre-veterinary program addresses the unique needs of our students interested in veterinary careers and the challenging and highly competitive admissions process for veterinary schools. Our program provides individual advising to help students plan and apply for veterinary school after completing a liberal arts education. Students interested in veterinary careers should consult the program coordinator early in their time at Washington. Those who have noted their interest in considering a veterinary career will become aware of expectations, requirements, procedures, and deadlines associated with the program.

Our rural location provides nearby experiential opportunities with a range of animals, including household companions, livestock, laboratory species, horses, and wildlife. Our River and Field Campus offers an unparalleled living classroom in a variety of subjects.
