7th Annual Washington College Piano Festival
Saturday April 11
The Piano Festival Student Showcase/Competition will take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Hotchkiss Recital Hall in the Gibson Center for the Arts.
Our featured guest artist, pianist Mark Valenti, will perform a solo recital at 7:30 p.m. in Hotchkiss Recital Hall.

Spring Awakening
The Washington College Department of Theatre and Dance presents Spring Awakening, an angsty rock musical adaptation about the trials and tribulations of growing up. The winner of eight Tony awards, including Best Musical, Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's landmark musical is an electrifying fusion of morality, sexuality, and rock and roll that explores the journey from adolescence to adulthood with poignancy and passion.

Small Pointed Things — Poetry Reading
Erica McAlpine, A. C. Cooper Fellow and Tutor in English Language & Literature at St. Edmund's Hall, Oxford University
Erica McAlpine, who will read poems from her new book, Small Pointed Things. In addition to her creative and scholarly writing, Dr. McAlpine has particular interests in building literary communities, good book talk, and improv comedy.
