In Kent County, an organization called The Social Action Committee for Racial Justice is a community effort to learn, grow, and take action against racism in Kent County, Maryland. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in Sumner Hall, Chestertown, MD.

LGBTQIA
Safe Space Awareness Training
PFLAG advocates for LGBT equality through civil rights legislations and civil rights protections. There is a local grassroot chapter here that has been active with legislation since 2012.
Disability Support
The Office of Academic Skills provides disability access information, support, and accommodations for individuals with disabilities on campus. Our mission is to ensure that all students, employees, and visitors have equal access to programs and services available at Washington College.

George's Free General Store
The Hunger and Homelessness initiative sponsors George's Free General Store, a food pantry that runs on donations from WC community members.
