Outcomes

Law schools admit students who earned undergraduate degrees in every major, sometimes even purposefully building classes of students with a variety of backgrounds.

Pre-law students at Washington are encouraged to major in what most interests them, especially if that will give them a head start on a legal specialty, for example majoring in music or art to go into copyright or intellectual property, or majoring in natural sciences to enter patent law.
