Due Dates and Renewals

Faculty

Faculty may check out Miller Library materials for up to 1 year. Please note that ILL due dates are based on the lending institution’s policies and are indicated on ILL bookstraps.

Students

Students may check out Miller Library materials for up to 1 semester. Please note that ILL due dates are based on the lending institutions policies are indicated on ILL bookstraps.

Renewals & Recalls

Faculty may renew library materials for up to 1 year. Students may renew library materials for an additional semester.

The library reserves the right to recall materials. Patrons will receive a recall notice via email.

Please respond to overdue notices received in email or contact Circulation at mlcircFREEwashcoll.

Fines & Late Fees

Books or materials not returned after 90 days overdue are billed a flat rate for replacement ($45) and processing fees ($20), for a total of $65 per overdue item. If the material is returned after the bill is issued but before it is paid and processed, the costs will be waived.

Books or materials recalled but not returned within 7 days after receiving recall notice are fined $1/day.

Interlibrary loan books and materials not returned within 7 days after due date are fined $1/day.

Damaged or defaced books or materials will be billed for cost and processing fees.
