Polly Sommerfeld

Polly Ku’ulei Sommerfeld is a member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA and holds degrees from Oklahoma State Univ (B.S.) and the Univ of Hawaii (M.F.A). She was a resident company member with Honolulu Theatre for Youth for 13 seasons. While in Hawai’i, acting roles included Jocasta from Oedipus Rex (HTY), Mary Shelley from Bloody Poetry (SatCo), and Ka’iulani from Ka’iulani (Kumu Kahua Theatre) as well as commercial and tv film work. After relocating to the mainland, she performed with 7 Stages Theatre, Arena Stage, Center Stage, NY Theatre Institute and the Fulton Opera House. She has performed locally at the Garfield Center for the Arts and Church Hill Theatre. For the Washington College Department of Theatre and Dance, she has performed Hecuba (Troy Women), Mme Ranyevskaya (The Cherry Orchard), and Linda Loman (Death of a Salesman).
