As the GIS & Cultural Resource Specialist for the Washington College Geospatial Innovation Program, Madison aims to train and mentor students in real-world applications of GIS, with a focus on the evidence of human activity, both past and present, on our landscape. Madison has a background in anthropology and archaeology, and a special interest in creating GIS deliverables that are appropriate and accessible for a wide variety of audiences. Much of her work at Washington College involves collaborating with local government and non-profit organizations, to bring GIS capacity to small teams who create big impacts in our communities.
