Amber Taliancich is from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and earned her MFA from the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Cleveland, Ohio. She's taught creative writing, narrative forms, literary publishing, and editing courses at the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland State University, and the Cleveland School of the Arts, among others. She's the winner of the Leonard Trawick Prize for fiction, as well as a two-time recipient of the Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence. Her essays and short stories have appeared in Ninth LetterThe PinchEntropyHobartPithead Chapel, and elsewhere. Currently, Amber is the Conference Coordinator for Cherry Tree Young Writers' Conference, a co-founder and Editor of Sidereal Magazine, and the Assistant Director of the Rose O'Neill Literary House.
