Facilities

The Department of Biology occupies two floors on the southern end of the John S. Toll Science Center with teaching labs for anatomy, general biology, biochemistry, ecology, molecular biology, along with faculty research labs. Biology also frequently uses labs in Semans-Griswold Environmental Hall on the Waterfront Campus.

Specialized facilities include:

• Aquatics lab with fish nursery and holding tanks
• Microsuites for cell and tissue culture, histology, fluorescence microscopy
• Rooftop Greenhouse
