Washington College is proud to announce its continued recognition among the nation's leading liberal arts colleges in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings. "As a top-100 liberal arts college with a rich heritage and a great deal of innovation on the horizon, we are honored to once again be included in U.S. News & World Report's prestigious rankings," said President Mike Sosulski. "I am even more gratified to see the college's score rising among institutions that promote the upward social mobility of their graduates. At Washington, our mission is to transform lives and to move the world. Our U.S. News rankings reflect the efficacy of our efforts."

The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings are based on a variety of factors, including academic quality, graduation rates, student selectivity, faculty resources, financial resources, alumni giving, and graduation debt. Washington College's strong performance in these areas reflects its commitment to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for success in their chosen fields.

Adding to this recognition, Washington College was also included in The Princeton Review's prestigious "Best Colleges" list for 2025. This designation places Washington among the top four-year colleges in the U.S., further solidifying its reputation for academic excellence. Only about 15 percent of the nation’s colleges make the Best Colleges list.

National rankings serve as a valuable resource for college-bound students and their families and showcase the College’s exceptional educational experience that is both affordable and rewarding, with faculty dedicated to student success.
