Starr Center—Explore America!

Washington College’s Starr Center explores the American experience in all its diversity and complexity, seeks creative approaches to illuminating the past, and inspires thoughtful conversation informed by history. Rose O'Neill Literary House

The Rose O'Neil Literary House offers literary programming across disciplines, spaces to study and to hold class, professional mentorship and guidance for students, and training in new and antique printing technologies. Our job is to help students grow as artists and to envision the lives they can have as writers, editors, and publishers, once they graduate from Washington College.

It's primary objective is to support the integration of ecological and social values.
