Gibson 206
Gibson 206
This classroom in Gibson Center for the Arts has been redesigned with music education and production at its core.
This classroom has been specifically designed and laid out to accommodate the needs of our music department. Whether reading music compositions, learning music theory, or composing a multi-channel artistic music piece, this room can handle it all.
The furniture is composed of nesting tables and chairs on casters, allowing the room to be reconfigured for whatever learning style will be employed that particular class. There are eight mounted student computers along the walls with second screens. These are used to music production using a variety of professional level music creation and mixing hardware and software. This room is also equipped with wireless presentation capabilities, meaning students can share their work to the in-room sound system without ever leaving their seats.
