Isabel McCreary '27

    Lifelong Learning Intern

    Major: Biology

Immersing herself in the natural world is one of Isabel’s greatest pleasures.

Growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland meant spending much of her life learning about and appreciating the Chesapeake Bay and the various rivers that feed it, which sparked a deep fascination with the environment and the wildlife that inhabits it. Whether she’s kayaking the Corsica, hiking the trails at Tuckahoe State Park, or finding a new trail or body of water to explore, Isabel is happiest outdoors.

At Washington College, Isabel takes every opportunity to share her passion for the environment with her peers, and plans to continue her education in ecology both as a member of the 2024 Chesapeake Semester Cohort and as an intern for the Office of Lifelong Learning.
