Teaching with WC-ALL is a wonderful and enriching way to share your special area of knowledge or passion for a subject with our community of lifelong learners in a friendly, fully-accessible setting on Washington College's beautiful campus in Chestertown.

We also actively encourage the submission of proposals for courses you'd like to offer at a non-campus location or through a virtual learning technology like Zoom. In addition to the joy you'll give and receive from teaching for WC-ALL, we'll show our thanks with a modest honorarium that varies according to the number of classes in your course.

    Course and Talk Proposal Form

We divide each semester into two six-week sessions with a one-week break in-between.

    • Term 1 – Tuesday, September 3 to Saturday, October 12

    • Term 2 — Sunday, October 13 to Saturday, November 23

While most of our in-person courses consist of five or six classes meeting once per week at 4:15 pm, we'll happily consider courses with fewer than five classes or other start times.

We're also interested in proposals for single-session talks that could be offered at various times of the day either in-person or remotely.
