If you are a new international student and you are outside of the United States, you can enroll in online courses at Washington College for the Fall 2020 semester, but you cannot enter the United States at this time.
Yes, current international students in good standing with the U.S. government may continue to take online classes while in the U.S. (as they did for the second half of the spring 2020 semester). You can take courses online and we would love to have you do so! If you are in the United States now, you can remain in the country, as long as you take a full course load and make progress toward completing your degree.
Yes. Current international students in good standing with the U.S. government may continue to take online classes from outside the United States, you can still enroll in online courses at Washington College, as long as you are in good academic standing (that is, not on academic probation or continued academic probation).
Current international students in good standing with the U.S. government may continue
to take online classes while in the United States (as they did for the second half of the spring 2020 semester). You must take a full course load and make progress toward completing your degree. To remain on campus, you must have permission from the College administration.
Yes. New international students already issued F-1 visas may take classes from their homes during the Fall 2020 semester. As they were expected to enter the country in August, their F-1 program start dates will be updated to the Spring 2021 semester. During the fall semester, they cannot enter the United States.
Yes. New international students who have not yet received their student visas may take classes from their homes during the Fall 2020 semester. However, they cannot enter the United States during the semester.
