    Favorite Professor and Class

International Communications with Dr. Meghan Grosse! She also had the biggest impact on my academic experience at Washington College. She was a kind friend and educator who sympathized with students going through the motions of the college experience. She expected the best work from us because she knew we were capable of it and she also knew when to show us a little extra kindness and give us extra time to complete an assignment.

    Fondest WC Memory

The chance to attend commencement with the Class of 2021. Despite the pandemic, the College was able to make it all happen.

Let's Hear It for the Liberal Arts

WC prepared me to tackle the many challenges that we may face in our lifetime. Whether it is a job interview, a public speaking event, a presentation, or networking in the professional world, I am able to carry out these tasks with confidence thanks to my time at WC.

    Advice

My advice to any students, especially those who were introverted or more reserved like I was during my freshman year, is to take a step out of your comfort zone, whether it's attending a club once a week or befriending someone you sit next to in a class. Push yourself to do it. Don't worry about the outcome because the point is to do something you usually wouldn't do. My motto is that I'd rather regret the things I did than the things I didn't because then I wouldn't be lingering on 'what if I did.'
