I'm a Master's Student at Towson University, studying Dance Education. I'm also the Dance Director for Carrol Manor Recreation Council, where I teach and manage the Dance Program.

Alicia Kozma & Meghan Grosse from the CMS dept. They both pushed me academically and always offered support or advice.

Fondest WC Memory

Spending school breaks with WAC Habitat for Humanity! You can't beat the roadtrips, YMCA showers, and genuine friendship that building houses together develops.

Let’s Hear It for the Liberal Arts

I learned so much about leadership at WAC. I felt that I always seized opportunities that developed my ability to be a leader in the community. It was definitely humbling at times, but I always had such a strong community supporting me that it was okay to fail and learn from mistakes.

Advice

Everyone's journey is different! Don't compare someone else's successes to your path. I find that especially after graduation, everyone is on their own trajectory and it can be difficult to celebrate your wins when you are comparing yourself to others.
