Pre-Allied Health Professions

Healthcare delivery has increasingly become a collaborative effort, with diverse practitioners providing specialized knowledge, technological mastery, and preventative education. Physician assistants, physical and occupation therapists, and athletic trainers all cooperate, playing critical roles in providing safe and effective patient care.

Students of all majors are eligible to apply for graduate training as physician assistants, physical and occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. Our faculty and advising team work closely with students to help them meet the discipline and program specific prerequisites. Students aspiring to careers in these allied fields should contact our Pre-Allied Health program advisor, Dr. Aaron Krochmal, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Biology.
