MUS 332 Music Production & Recording (audio & video)

Washington College Music Students enjoy access to state-of-the-art Music Recording and Production resources. In addition to enrolling in MUS 332 Music Production and Recording, students regularly use the equipment to record department ensembles and to pursue both faculty-guided and independent projects, including those for the Senior Capstone Experience (SCE). Ableton Live 9.0

The Production & Recording facilities comprise 12 desktop and laptop computer, divided among 4 rooms. Each machine is loaded with industry standard DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations) like Ableton Live 9.0, Protools 11, and Logic Pro X, as well as music notation software  (Sibelius and Finale) and ear training software (Auralia).
