The Eastern Shore Guitar Festival

October 20th, 2018

  • 7:30pm: Concert with Klasinc & Lončar Guitar Duo & Silviu Ciulei
    Concert with the amazing Klasinc & Lončar Guitar Duo, and the exciting classical and flamenco guitarist Silviu Ciulei. Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite.

October 21st, 2018

  • 2:00pm: Ensemble Concert/Student Recital
    Concert featuring talented guitarists from the Mid-Atlantic Region, Loudoun Youth Guitars directed by Dr. Miroslav Lončar, and The Baltimore Classical Guitar Society Orchestra directed by Scott Borg
  • 6:00pm: Anisimova/Palmer Duo
    As part of its 2018-2019 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series presents Tanya Anisimova, cello and Matt Palmer, guitar. Special opening performance by The Eastern Shore Guitar Festival Orchestra!Advance tickets are available through Eventbrite.

October 20th, 2018

  • 1:00pm: Matt Palmer Technique Clinic
    Matt Palmer teaches a clinic on advanced classical (finger style) techniques.  Topics discussed are speed, strength, scales, arpeggios, and rasgueados.  Bring your guitar and be ready for a workout!

October 21st, 2018

  • 11:00am - 11:50am: The Harmony of Daily Practice, a Lecture by Miroslav Lončar

    Learn ideas about practicing more efficiently; and how teachers, students, and parents can collaborate effectively in this important aspect of learning.  

  • 1:00pm - 2:00pm: Technique Clinic with Silviu Ciulei
    Clinic on technique by renowned classical and flamenco guitarist Silviu Ciulei.
