Alex Heim '24
Permaculture Intern
Alex values accuracy and truth. He plays guitar. He likes fingerpicking folk and jazzy indie stuff. He likes to sprout avocados from seed. He likes making compost. He helped plant a tree next to Daly Hall during the Fall ’21 semester.
I hope to learn tools that will help me live a full life. I see this internship as a nice hands-on complement to my mostly theoretical academic classes. I’m not sure where I will end up in the future, but wherever I do end up, I’ll be glad to have permaculture skills under my belt.
