Swimming Endowment Fundraiser

Kim Lessard is hanging up her fins.  After 34 years, 15 NCAA National Championships Appearances, 26 All America and All Honorable Mention Athletes, 143 All-Centennial Conference Swimmers and 11 Hall of Famers (so far), Kim will step down from her final role at Washington College as Aquatics Director and Senior Woman Administrator.

To honor Kim’s legacy at Washington College, please consider making a gift of to grow the Swimming Endowment that Kim established in 2018.  Thanks to Kim’s hard work the endowment now stands at $66,980.  With your support, the endowment will  nearly double, offering perpetual and increasing support for the swim program at WC. The goal—or as Kim would say PR—for this project is to hit the $50,000 for this gift. If reached, the College will name the women’s locker room in Casey Swim Center in honor of Kim. Update: We're at just under $10,000 towards a goal of $50K in honor of Kim.

Thank you for considering a gift to support the Swimming Endowment at Washington College and honor Kim Lessard as she retires this year.  We are accepting three-year pledges in addition to outright gifts. $334 per year for three years hits the $1,000 mark, if you’re interested in supporting the fund at that level. Gifts of all sizes are appreciated and impactful.
