Students wishing to be certified to teach English or English / Language Arts must take the following courses, in addition to those requirements for their major, the education certification program, and distribution:

• EDU 315 Traditional and Modern Grammar (offered Spring odd years) and
• EDU 354 / ENG 342 Children’s and Young Adult Literature (Spring only)
