BUS 330 International Business Experience 2024: Spain!

Join fellow Washington College students as we explore the commerce and culture of Spain in May 2024.

From Tuesday, May 21 to Sunday, June 2, Washington College students and faculty leaders will explore Spanish commerce, culture, history, nature, and art.

We’ll spend six nights in Barcelona and four nights in Palma, the capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca. We’ll visit businesses, explore neighborhoods, study the political and legal context of doing business in Spain, and enjoy the vibrant culture and nightlife of Barcelona and Mallorca.

Our focus will be entrepreneurship and the tourism industry, and in keeping with that theme, we’ll make time for a beach afternoon or two!

BUS 330 Global Business Experience is a four-credit course. It satisfies the Business Management global learning requirement, and counts as elective credits for students with other majors.

The cost of the trip is $7,000 per student, including airfare, but thanks to generous support from benefactors of the Business Management Department, we are able to offer the program to registered Washington College students for $6,000.

In addition, limited financial aid is available that will bring the overall cost down significantly for high-need students. Our goal is to make this program available for all students, regardless of family financial support.
