Sarah Tundermann is an Adjunct Professor of Theatre and Dance at Washington College. In addition to teaching, Sarah works regionally and internationally as a theatre designer of lighting, projections & multimedia. She served as Assistant Lighting Designer for the San Francisco Opera from 2014 - 2017. Recent regional design credits include Berta Berta, Cry it Out, Queens Girl: Black in the Green Mountains, Queens Girl in Africa, and Queens Girl of the World (Everyman Theatre); Zomo, Thumbelina, Charlotte's Web, and Escapeff from Peligro Island (Imagination Stage); Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus and The Watsons go to Birmingham (Kennedy Center); The Royale (in co-production with 1st Stage), Tiger Style, Elf, and Annie (Olney Theatre Center); She the People (Woolly Mammoth/Second City); Little Shop of Horrors (Constellation Theatre); and Becoming Dr. Ruth (Theatre J).
