Class of 2011
Major/Minor: English, Sociology
Alice is the 2011 Class Correspondent.
My experience with The Elm couldn’t have prepared me better for post-grad life. I not only garnered skills in designing publications, which helped me land a communications job right away, but also boosted my management and leadership skills. Not to mention that my memories and friendships will last a lifetime. Right now I work as a communications assistant, designing newsletters and improving website content. In addition, I got an internship at Baltimore Style Magazine thanks to my connections in WC College Relations. Those late Wednesday nights at the Publications House paid off!

Favorite Sociology Course? Environmental Sociology - I never thought I would ever be interested in environmental issues, but approaching it from a sociological perspective made it accessible and approachable.
Why I Majored in Sociology? Quite simply, I fell in love with Sociology 101 and never looked back.
