Since graduating from Washington College, I have been fortunate to achieve great success in my academic and professional careers. Washington College was instrumental in preparing me for graduate studies at the University of Delaware after graduating in 2007. I was fortunate to graduate from Delaware in the Spring of 2009 with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree.
After completing my graduate studies, I was selected through a highly competitive selection process for a two-year Administrative Fellowship at the National Eye Institute on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In July 2011, I successfully completed the Fellowship, and am now working full-time as a budget analyst managing the $70 million dollar intramural research program budget for the laboratory, cores, and units conducting scientific research on eye and vision-related areas of interest to the biomedical research community. In addition to working full-time, I am currently pursing my Doctorate in Public Administration at the University of Baltimore on a part-time basis. I am in my second year of study with an expected graduation in May 2014.
