Birthday Ball is Coming!

Birthday Ball is just around the corner! Are you prepared?

With Birthday Ball just 10 days away, there are some important things to remember! 

First, Ticket Sales

Ticket sales will end at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Full priced tickets will be available for purchase at the door using cash and credit card beginning at 8:00 p.m. on the evening of Birthday Ball. 

Current students, faculty, and staff receive ONE (1) complimentary ticket to attend Birthday Ball. Complimentary tickets must be claimed by Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 12:00 noon. If you do not claim your ticket by the deadline, you will be required to purchase a full priced ticket at the door to gain entrance to the ball. Please refer to your email for instructions to claim your complimentary ticket.


Please print and bring your ticket(s) to the event entrance at the Cain Gymnasium. You may also obtain e-tickets through the Eventbrite Mobile App on your smartphone device. Student, faculty, and staff tickets must be accompanied by the proper student, faculty, or staff ID at entry. The name on the ticket must match the name on the College ID.


All guests will be required to show a valid photo ID at the door. Students, Faculty, and/or Staff are REQUIRED to show their College ID for entry. 


Guests 21 years old or older wishing to purchase alcohol at the event must present a valid government issued photo ID at check-in. Beer and wine will be available to guests from 8 p.m. to Midnight (Last Call 11:30 p.m.); all drinks are $5.00, CASH ONLY.


Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. All sales are final.


Once you have entered the event, guests will not be permitted to leave and re-enter. NO EXCEPTIONS.


All guests are invited to a buffet breakfast in Hodson Hall Commons immediately following the event until 2 a.m. It’s free!

Third, Remember the Ball

Want to start the fun early? Come to the Remember the Ball Party at 5 p.m. on February 22 and enjoy snacks, favors, and the first Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone!

Lastly, Just Have Fun!

Come dance, sing, and enjoy the magical world of Washington College at the 2014 Birthday Ball!
