Grasshopper Sparrow Research

Dr. Bernard Lohr, University of Maryland, has researched avian behavior at nearby Chino Farms for over a decade. Lohr’s research has focused on the auditory mechanisms of songbirds, parrots, woodpeckers, owls, and hummingbirds and his research has been published in the Journal of Comparative Psychology, the Condor, Animal Behavior and others.
