Maria Hynson ’15 P’19

Assistant Director of Alumni Programming

Maria oversees all aspects of the Alumni Weekend, including creating and managing the Weekend schedule and coordinating event logistics. To accomplish this goal, she works with the Classes and Reunions Committee of the Alumni Board, and recruits and trains a staff of student workers to assist in the production of the Weekend.

She also collaborates with the Co-Chairs of the Alumni Alliance Committee of the Alumni Board to bring together alumni groups, clubs and affinities, and recruits new alumni groups and affinities to join the Alliance.  She is responsible for developing and maintaining training materials for alumni groups to grow their event programming and constituencies, and serves as the primary liaison between these affinity groups and the College.

Maria completed her Bachelor’s degree in May 2015, with a major in the Humanities, and minors in Art & Art History and Philosophy.  At Commencement, she was awarded the Norman James Prize for Excellence in the Humanities, received Outstanding Community Service Recognition and won the Gold Pentagon Award for meritorious Service to the College.  She is the proud parent of a member of the Class of 2019.
