    As part of its 2015-2016 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series presents Steel Revolution, Washington College’s own Steel Pan Ensemble. This FREE family-friendly program will take place is Martha Washington Square. Bring a blanket and come enjoy some great pop/rock music!

    As part of its FREE 12@Hotchkiss Series, the Washington College Department of Music presents a noontime concert featuring horn player, James Rester.

  • 5:30pm: Navajo “Blessingway”: Archaeologist Will Tsosie
    Will Tsosie, a Navajo storyteller and Tribal Archaeologist for the Navajo Nation, will sing the “Blessingway,” a series of song-prayers performed to promote health, well-being, harmony, and success.

    Concert featuring the exciting guitar and flute Duo de Vista, and Matt Palmer’s world premiere performance of Rafael Scarfullery’s Sonata Sentimental and other masterpieces for solo guitar.

    Interactive class regarding injury prevention and the art of efficiency in the practice room. Learn important tools to create a balanced, complete musical education and the ability to be your own most valuable teacher.

    Concert featuring the awe-inspiring talents of Adam Kossler and Scott Borg on solo guitar, and an ensemble performance by the exciting Loudoun Youth Guitars.

  • 3:00pm: Matt Palmer Technique Clinic
    Matt Palmer teaches a clinic on advanced classical (finger style) techniques.  Topics discussed are speed, strength, scales, arpeggios, and rasgueados.  Bring your guitar and be ready for a workout!

    As part of its 2015-2016 Premier Artists lineup, the Washington College Concert Series celebrates Veteran’s Day with a FREE concert in Decker Theater by the United States Navy’s premier country-bluegrass ensemble, Country Current. Free tickets are available through Eventbrite.

    The Department of Music presents a showcase production, featuring many of our ensembles. The program includes World Music elements (Afro-Cuban Ensemble, Japanese Ensemble) as well as Electronic, Jazz, and Vocal music.
